A Life-Changing Oracle

About twelve years ago I was going through a lot of intense anxiety and depression because I was feeling stuck in life. My life wasn’t going the way I wanted it, and I knew something had to change, but I wasn’t sure what to do or how to do it.

At the peak of my frustrations, I encountered someone who had told me about this ancient Chinese book of wisdom called the “Yijing” (aka “I-Ching” or “The Book of Changes”), which was supposed to “guide me through my life’s biggest questions and situations,” sort of like Tarot. So I purchased a book and learned how to consult the Yijing for life’s guidance.

And let me tell you, it was the most life-changing thing I’ve ever done.

To make a long story short, the Yijing gave me guidance on how to move forward in my life. Thanks in large part to this “Book of Changes,” I found myself in school once again, this time to study Eastern medicine. And now after all these years, I have a thriving practice helping others for a living, fulfilling my true purpose in life.

So now, to commemorate this life-changing discovery, Purple Cloud is excited to announce two very exciting workshops occurring at the end of this month, both of them designed to help you to unlock the ancient wisdom of the Yijing!

Purple Cloud will be hosting renown Yijing teacher from the Netherlands, Harmen Mesker, who will be teaching us 1) the introduction to the Yijing; and 2) Yijing for TCM Practitioners.

Workshop 1: Introduction to the Yijing Workshop (No Prior Experience Necessary)

The Yijing is somewhat like Tarot in that it is a tool for life’s guidance. But unlike Tarot that uses cards, the Yijing is a book of 64 chapters that we call “hexagrams.” In order to find guidance from the Yijing, you must meditate on your question, and then “consult” the Yijing.

In this workshop, Harmen will be teaching:

• How to consult the Yijing
• How to interpret the answers
• How to ask and how not to ask questions
• And much more

By the end of the class, you will be able to use the Yijing for personal life guidance for your career, relationships, and much more!

Workshop 2: The Yijing – Diagnosis for TCM Students and Practitioners

In this fascinating two-day workshop we will examine the use of the hexagrams from the Yijing as a diagnostic tool in Chinese medicine. You will learn:
